Who we are
We believe that the people in emerging rural economies possess myriads of valuable information that can shape the future of how we design good products and systems for the changing world.
Groots sustainably sources real-time and primary data in emerging markets, rewarding those who have field expertise and first-hand information. By building a digital swarm at the grass-roots level, we are able to seamlessly collect and market data for private and public companies. Our new shop-owner based swarm provides instant, primary and cheap information for a variety of use cases in a reliable and sustainable way, unlike current solutions, which are missing this symbiotic approach and struggle with user fatigue. We help organisations and companies to create evidence based solutions that shape a better future for these communities.
Data instantly accessible once it becomes available
Data collected at the source without intermediaries
Data available at cheaper cost
Field experts are rewarded for the data they provide
Moverity is a chatbot that helps car drivers in Southeast Asia to track and improve their fuel consumption. They can save money and CO2 emissions. This real-world data will also help governments to design better transport policies.
Chatbot solution that collects real-world fuel economy data that is still lacking in Southeast Asia. It will help car drivers in the region save money and CO2 emissions. The data collected will be displayed on the website and accessible to public. Filling this data gap will help governments design sound policies for a sustainable transport sector.
